Alignment –Alignment is the most important foundation to leading people. Alignment puts the right skills, in the right place, at the right time. When it comes to Alignment, it is not a checkers game, this is chess. Meaning, you'll have to spend time aligning their skills, passion, and job match with the organizational goals. It is both the people and the plan—not one or the other.
Adoption – Adoption is the toughest part to leading people and moving the organizational needle because it requires locking in or sustaining the effort you have already put into establishing Agreement and Alignment. You can't shortcut Adoption because it validates your strategies. Adoption proves you are sincere about your efforts.
